Colombian actress, comedian, television hostess and model Sofia Vergara laughed off her mistakes in pronouncing some of the names of 2012 Golden Globe nominees during a televised live announcement in Beverly Hills, Calif on December 15. This 39 year-old “Modern family” actress also earned chuckles from actor Woody Harrelson and journalists for the mispronouncing. It is because she didn’t take those mistakes seriously just as she thinks of comedy. This two times Golden Glove nominated comedian says she chose comedy acting because she “never wanted to be taken seriously.”

“Oh my god!” Vergara told OnTheRedCarpet.com special correspondent George Pennacchio of KABC Television, the website’s parent company, laughing. “You know what, I think that’s why they invited me to do this reading of the nominations, of the names, because they know I’m going to mess it and they want to laugh at me.”

Vergara made her comments to OnTheRedCarpet.com at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California, moments after she, Harrelson Rashida Jones, Gerard Butler and Harrelson announced the nominations for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards just after 5 a.m. on Thursday, December 15. Sofia is also dashing in her choice of dress. On Wednesday she stepped out in L.A. overexposing her famous curves. Her behind was very visible through her sheer tights worn as pants.

Lindsay Lohan becomes successful this time: appreciation from Judge

Lindsay Lohan has this time became successful fulfilling the requirment of the probation imposed on her by court. It is weeks after she served a shortened jail sentence for violating it. Last month, the 25-year-old actress was ordered to complete 12 days of community service and four psychotherapy sessions by her next hearing, which took place on Wednesday, December 14. The judge said that day that Lohan completed the required time at a morgue and had five counseling appointments. She has until late March to finish all of her hours.

“Miss Lohan, you have actually done work and done it not only on time but early,” the judge told the actress at a Los Angeles court. “You’re doing well and I’d like to see you continue.” ”I think she likes to come here and see me,” she added, jokingly. “I think that’s a motivation for her. Just kidding.”

She also offered Lohan an incentive to succeed, saying the actress could take leisure trips outside California after she completes a dozen days of morgue work a month. The actress had permission from her probation officer to take a trip to Hawaii to celebrate her sister’s birthday. She returned just hours before the hearing. The judge even hinted that Lohan might end her supervised probation early if she works harder. Yes, if Lohan Tries, she can do it right.

Matisyahu shaved off his trademark: mixed reaction

American Hasidic Jewish reggae and alternative rock musician Matisyahu (original name Matthew Paul Miller) revealed to the Twitterverse yesterday that he shaved off his trademark beard. He is the only man who brought Orthodox Judaism to mainstream music. Had Matisyahu left Judaism all together with her beard?

“No more Chassidic reggae superstar,” 32-year-old Matisyahu wrote on his Web site. “Sorry folks, all you get is me … no alias.” The musician, best known for his hit “King Without a Crown,” explained that he once thought he needed rules “to become a good person,” but said he is now “reclaiming myself. Trusting my goodness and my divine mission.”

He continues, “Get ready for an amazing year filled with music of rebirth. And for those concerned with my naked face, don’t worry…you haven’t seen the last of my facial hair.” Mixed reaction are coming from fans for his action and dont know how he answers his fans.
